It's that time of year again, where we need to give all of our lovely customers the last order dates, and our own holiday. However, this year, things are a little different...
Unfortunately, Royal Mail have announced multiple dates for their strike, and most of these are in December. This puts a spanner in the works for us here at TBV, as other couriers and companies are taking the extra strain from RM customers who want their items sent and delivered on time, and this is resulting in serious delays through the courier companies, as well as a large continuous backlog at Royal Mail.
As such, we are unable to give a 'last order date', as packages are either arriving perfectly on time, or three weeks late (thankfully, the former is more common than the latter!).
We are still packing and dispatching orders within 24 hours, often packing and taking them to drop points during the night, to ensure our customers orders have the best chance to get to you all on time.
The average time for an order sent by standard delivery (Evri) to arrive with its recipient is 4-5 days. Please bear this in mind when ordering.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund missing or lost orders until 3 weeks have passed since we dropped the package at the drop point. As so many orders are delivered within this timeframe, we simply can't bear the cost of refunding these orders, as we are unable to claim compensation once the order has been delivered.
Please also bear in mind that we cannot deal with lost order inquiries while we are closed over the New Year.
While getting your order to you on time is our priority, we will occasionally miss the target time for delivery. If this happens, one of our customers shared a lovely idea with us. Simply print off the order confirmation, or pictures of the products purchased, and put this in a card for the recipient, with a promise that they'll be delivered imminently.
Alternatively, you can buy gift cards from our store! Simply add to card and checkout as usual, and you'll receive an automatic email with your gift card code inside. Again, this can then be added to a card for the recipient.
Lastly, as we do every year, we'll be closing after Christmas for around 2 weeks.
We will be closing on 27 December 2022. All orders made after 8pm on this date will not be dispatched until our return on Monday 9th January 2023.
We will still be able to answer emails and inquiries in this time, but please bear with us, as we won't be in the office and will be answering on the go!
