Feels like yesterday we were closing the shop in January this year. How time flies!
It’s that time of year again, lovelies. We’re working hard to bring you our favourite products in time for the Christmas rush, but just to make sure you don’t miss out, we’re being extra prepared this year 🤓
As we are sure everyone is aware, Covid-19 set us small businesses back a little when Lockdown first happened and due to a massive increase in online shopping, Royal mail, amongst other couriers, experienced delays in delivering parcels across the board. So, with that in mind, we’ve had a look at their official cut-off dates for Christmas this year.
Last order date guaranteed for Christmas:
As we are a small business, we expect to experience an increase in our processing time over the festive period. The official cut-off date currently stated by Royal Mail for guaranteed delivery in time for Christmas is Monday 21st December, however this is subject to change (especially considering the pandemic). So that we can continue a first-class service to our customers, we will be taking orders up until 2pm Friday 18th December. This will ensure we have enough time to process your orders and get them posted by the Royal Mail cut off date. Anything placed after this time will of course still be posted, however it will not be guaranteed to arrive in time for Christmas.
These dates are set by Royal Mail and are subject to change, as stated on their website. The nature of the pandemic means changes could come at short notice, so please be sure to check their website before you make a purchase. We will keep our website up to date as much as possible, but changes could be made before we are given a chance to update the website.
Unfortunately, during the pandemic, we’ve noticed extreme delays in our international customers receiving their orders. As such, we are unable to guarantee any international orders for Christmas 2020.
We will then be closed from Monday 21st December to Friday 4th January. The website will remain open and we will continue to accept orders, but we will not be able to dispatch any orders made during this time until our return on Friday 4th January 2021.
Lastly, we would like to thank each and every one of our wonderful customers for your support this year. The pandemic has been a very difficult time for us all and we cannot thank you enough for continuing to support our business. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, the Happiest of Holidays and a fantastic New Year when it comes.
